Ordered from a diff place last week-it cost a bit more but portions were dbl the size. Big Tuna has been our standby which is why we ordered today but not sure we would again. Staff pass by without asking if they can help when there to pick up

Ordered at 5pm, received an estimated pick up time but no official pick up time. Called restaurant several times to confirm if it was ready. They finally answered at 830pm and said they threw it out

I had to wait, at the establishment, for 25 minutes, after the time they said it would be ready. I understand 10 minutes, but I am lead to believe that they gave our takeout to the delivery services first.

The service is usually as excellent as the food, but on this occasion there was a problem and it was not handled well. I ordered Yam Tempura and got some kind of yam roll instead. Also, all the food was put on a single tray, which was extremely inconvenient because there were two people eating and not intending to share items. I called the restaurant and was offered a credit for the mix-up, but I didn't want a credit because I would have had just a cucumber roll for lunch. I wanted the restaurant to resolve the error by sending the correct item. There was a lot of reluctance and a lot of back and forth before they finally agreed to make it right. I was very surprised because the response was the complete opposite of the customer service I had previously experienced. There was a previous order with a missing item and the restaurant was extremely eager and proactive in getting the missing item sent to my home. They were so apologetic and made a point of following-up to make sure I got the item and was happy. It was amazing. I don't know what changed this time. Perhaps a staffing issue? It's understandable that mistakes happen, but there's no excuse for poor customer service.
